My Another Stupid Challenge-30 for 30 Fundraising Page

Alexa Cimino
Hi friends! I'm participating in Another Stupid Challenge this year to raise money for Stupid Cancer, an organization that supports young adults affected by cancer.
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at 25. Since then, I've undergone surgery, radioactive iodine treatment, countless scans and blood tests, and all the uncertainty that comes with navigating cancer as a young adult.
While I'm grateful to be where I am today, cancer doesn't simply end when treatment does. Recovery is ongoing, and organizations like Stupid Cancer help young people feel less alone during one of the hardest experiences of their lives. Funds raised through this challenge will help provide CancerCon scholarships. Attending CancerCon was a huge turning point in my own cancer journey, and I hope to help another young adult affected by cancer have that same opportunity.
For this year's challenge, I'm committing to training for a 5K throughout June. Before my diagnosis, I loved running. The last year and a half has come with treatment, fatigue, and learning how to live in a body that often feels different than it used to. My goal is simply to reconnect with something I used to enjoy and celebrate what my body can do, rather than focus on what cancer has taken from it.
If you'd like to support me, I'd be so grateful for a donation of any size. Thank you for supporting Stupid Cancer and helping young adults facing cancer feel a little less alone. ❤️
