Welcome to my ANOTHER STUPID CHALLENGE!!!
This month I'm challenging myself to read at least 30 minutes a day in the month of June!
While going through chemo, I found again my love for reading. Since I was forced to slow down and isolate socially quite a bit, books and audiobooks brought me great comfort. I also had a lot of time to fill while waiting at doctor’s offices, during treatment, and more. Also books have continued to bring me joy, community, and healing!
I want to pay it forward and give back to an organization that changed my LIFE post cancer diagnosis and treatment. Stupid Cancer has helped me find life saving resources, make new friends, and thrive as a Young Adult (18-39 in the cancer world) Cancer Survivor!
Stupid Cancer is the leader in building the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community, ending isolation, and making cancer suck less so that everyone affected by AYA cancer can Get Busy Living. This National Cancer Survivors Month, support Stupid Cancer and the organization’s CancerCon Scholarships!
CancerCon is THE gathering for the adolescent and young adult cancer community. Every dollar raised helps fuel connection, support, education, advocacy, and survivorship programming for adolescents and young adults affected by cancer.
