Rooftop Sessions: Raising a Glass and Raising Funds for Stupid Cancer

As a three-time young adult cancer survivor, I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming cancer can be when you are trying to build a career, maintain relationships and figure out who you are and what comes next.
Being diagnosed with cancer as a young adult changed nearly every part of my life. Going through it a second a time brought an entirely new level of uncertainty. While I was fortunate to have people who loved and supported me, there were many moments when I felt like no one around me truly understood what it was like to face cancer at that stage of life.
That is why the work of Stupid Cancer is so important to me.
Stupid Cancer connects adolescents and young adults affected by cancer with a community that understands the unique challenges they face. It creates spaces where people can be honest about the fear, frustration, isolation and lasting impact of cancer without feeling like they have to explain or minimize their experience.
I am proud to serve on the Stupid Cancer Board of Directors because I believe every young adult affected by cancer deserves to feel seen, supported and less alone.
Rooftop Sessions is more than an evening together—it is a reminder that no young adult should have to face cancer feeling invisible or alone. Every donation helps Stupid Cancer create the connection, community and support that can make an unbearable experience feel a little less isolating for young adult patients, survivors and caregivers.
Please consider making a donation and helping ensure that no young adult has to face cancer alone.
Thank you for supporting Rooftop Sessions and the young adult cancer community.
