Stupid Cancer IronMan Florida 2025 Fundraiser
Joshua Rivera
Ironman Florida 2025
Hello,
If you’re reading this, you likely know that I’m a cancer survivor — and that cancer didn’t just change my life, it reshaped my purpose.
Eighteen years ago, I was told I had a 15% chance of survival. Today, I’m still here and more committed than ever to helping others navigate the cancer journey — especially the adolescent and young adult (AYA) community, where support is often hardest to find.
That’s why I proudly serve as a board member and treasurer of Stupid Cancer, the leading organization dedicated to empowering 15–39-year-olds to “get busy living.” It’s not just a motto — it’s a mindset that has carried me through some of my greatest challenges and biggest milestones.
This November, I’ll take on Ironman Florida 2025 — my sixth full-distance triathlon. I’m dedicating every mile — all 140.6 of them — to the mission of Stupid Cancer and to every young person who needs a reminder that they are not alone.
Will you cheer me on by making a donation to my fundraiser?

Every dollar helps Stupid Cancer build community, provide education, and deliver life-changing support to young adults affected by cancer. You can also reach out if you’d like to learn more or get involved.
Together, we are making a difference.
Un Abrazo,
Joshua Joel Rivera
