I first heard about Stupid Cancer at a community oncology patient advocacy event. This organization is dedicated to assisting young adult survivors of cancer. I was diagnosed at 33 years old, which is young for the kind of diagnosis I received but certainly on the older age range of "young" cancer survivors. Young cancer patients face different challenges than older survivors and this organization helps to meet them where they are, at their age, and with their unique concerns and considerations. Please join me in this VIRTUAL marathon fundraiser in October or support me as I log my miles!
